How Canadian visitors can raise privacy questions or make a request about direct correspondence.

Region: CA

The forms on this website are demonstration-only and do not transmit or store entries. A request is most likely relevant only if you previously emailed us directly.

Requests you may make

Subject to applicable Canadian privacy law and reasonable identity verification, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal information connected with your direct correspondence
  • Provide access to eligible personal information
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
  • Delete information when retention is no longer reasonably required, subject to legal exceptions
  • Explain our privacy practices or raise a concern

How to make a request

Email care@truenorth-surface.world with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the request, the email address involved, and the approximate date of any prior correspondence.

Identity verification

We may need enough information to confirm that the requester is the person concerned or is authorized to act for them. Do not send government identification in the initial message. If additional verification is needed, we will explain an appropriate method.

Timing and outcomes

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within the period required by applicable law. Some information may need to be retained or withheld when legal obligations, security, privilege, or another person’s privacy applies. If so, we will explain the reason where permitted.

Concerns

If you believe a privacy concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial privacy authority.
